PISCATAWAY, N.J., Oct 15 – Two teams battled it out on stage for comedic supremacy in front of a rowdy crowd of Rutgers students Friday night at the Busch Campus Center.
The second annual Wild ‘N Out event, hosted by Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc., was a night full of laughter and a perfect way to de-stress from a busy school week.
The event, which was free to all students, was also co-sponsored by Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc., Black Student Union, Caribbean Fusion, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc., and West Indian Student Organization.
The Cove was packed to full capacity with students eager to cheer on the pink and black teams as they competed in different comedy challenges inspired by the popular TV show created by Nick Cannon.
Both teams brought their A-game the whole night, but it was ultimately the black team that came out victorious due to their slightly stronger performance.
The music for the event was provided by DJ IZ LIT, who kept the energy high all night with the current, hottest tracks in hip-hop.
This year’s Wild ‘N Out also featured musical performances from The Logan Brothers (@theloganbros) and Trippy Troy (@iamtrippytroy), who wowed the audience with their vocal talents.
Overall, the atmosphere was lively as many came out to show support, catch up with friends, and have fun and the entertainment for the night was amazing, which should encourage anyone who missed out this year to make an effort to experience this incredible event when it happens again next year!
